Musikgarten at The Center

Our tuition classes follow a specialized curriculum engaging with the world around us. Classes are tailored to the small group's needs.

These chummy half hour classes teach caregivers to connect with children in a musical setting. Both the caregiver and the child engage in singing, movement, and play to develop each child’s innate musical ability as well as listening skills, fine/gross motor development, and creative thinking. Regular participation in these classes prepare children for early music reading and instrument acquisition.

• Let movers move. Children are learning even if it looks like they are not participating. Adult participation helps bring the child back. We do not require the child to sit still.

• Allow the child to participate when they are ready. Sometimes, children need to do a lot of observing before they feel ready. We release attachment to child participation in class.
